Job Description
• Identify new prospects and opportunities and convert them into tangible business.
• Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients.
• Co-develop strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
• Audit and analyze the short- and long-term needs of prospects and clients.
• Draft and present tailored technical proposals.
• Negotiate business agreements.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Define account strategies by identifying growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction opportunities.
• Maintain continuous industry monitoring to identify new business opportunities.
• Participate in trade shows, association events, and seminars.
• Ensure rigorous follow-up on opportunities and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM.
• Meet and exceed annual sales targets.
• Perform any other tasks related to company needs.
Job Requirements
- Technical degree in automation or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of successful B2B sales experience with consistent achievement of targets.
- Experience in the food equipment industry.
- Dynamic, motivated personality with strong results orientation (entrepreneurial mindset).
- Excellent teamwork skills – your motto is “Winning Together”.
- Solid experience in negotiating and closing sales with production directors and engineers.
- Consultative approach, recognized as a trusted partner by your clients.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence and persuade.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and visit the headquarters in Quebec.
- Knowledge of ultrasonic cutting equipment, robotic solutions, or packaging in the food industry (asset).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks (asset).
