Job Description
Role Description
The Billing Coordinator position will support the complete utility billing cycle, from onboarding to monthly recurring billing for multifamily real estate customers. This role works closely with the Billing Manager and Operations team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all billing processes.
As a Billing Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to our billing operations team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of utility billing for our multifamily property clients. You will work within established processes and procedures to maintain billing accuracy, support account onboarding, and help identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Process resident billing accounts according to established billing cycles and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high attention to detail to minimize billing errors.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new properties and residents.
- Identify and escalate billing discrepancies for resolution.
- Support the Billing Manager with process documentation and testing of system enhancements.
- Collaborate with Pod Setup, Account Management, and UVM Coordinator teams on billing-related matters.
- Maintain organized records and documentation of billing activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Strong comfort level with mathematics and numerical accuracy.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to learn and work comfortably with billing systems and technology platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and regulations.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfort with repetitive, process-driven work in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in property management, utilities, or multifamily housing (preferred).
