Role Description
In this outside sales role, you will:

Become the Expert
- Learn the Products: Understand Victaulic's products and solutions to help customers complete projects on time and within budget.
- Know the Industry: Gain knowledge about grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive methods like welding and flanging. Understand construction cycles and market trends.
- Understand the Business: Collaborate with your Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan, execute project management phases, and lead the inside sales team.

Build Strong Relationships
- Develop lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
- Partner with Victaulic distributors and manage a balanced distribution network.
- Coordinate activities with other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists.

Educate and Influence
- Learn about customer needs and educate them on the value of utilizing Victaulic products.
- Conduct job site demonstrations and training sessions, as well as lunch and learn presentations.
- Influence decision-makers to maximize sales potential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous sales experience in value-added products/services, preferably in commercial construction, PVF industry, or mechanical products.
- Demonstrated achievements in sales and a history of developing long-standing relationships.
- Competitive nature with flexibility and resiliency.
- Self-motivated and self-driven.
- Confident and professional image when meeting with customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Solid project management skills.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel, with some territories requiring heavier overnight travel.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Physical capability to handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.
