Role Description
In this outside sales role, you will:

Become the Expert
- Learn all about Victaulic's products and how they provide solutions for customers.
- Understand grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive methods such as welding and flanging.
- Keep current with construction cycles, major projects, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations.
- Develop a business plan with your Regional Sales Manager, including opportunity mapping and sales goals.
- Execute all phases of project pursuit and management to secure purchase orders.

Build Strong Relationships
- Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
- Spend time with customers, including evenings and weekends for social events.
- Partner with Victaulic distributors and manage a balanced distribution network.
- Coordinate activities with other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists.

Educate and Influence
- Learn about customers' needs and educate them on the value of Victaulic products.
- Conduct tool demos and training on proper installation techniques.
- Present lunch and learn sessions for engineers on cutting-edge products.
- Influence decision-makers to maximize sales potential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous sales experience in value-added products/services, preferably in commercial construction, PVF industry, or mechanical products.
- Demonstrated achievements in sales and history of developing long-standing relationships.
- Competitive nature with flexibility and resiliency.
- Self-motivated and self-driven.
- Professional image and engaging personality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Solid project management skills.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel, with some territories requiring heavier overnight travel.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.
