The Senior Manager is a key role that supports Commercial Operations for MONARCH. We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented individual to support the current install base and ensure operational readiness and execution of global business results. The Senior Manager, Commercial Operations leads key initiatives that provide stronger forecasting, analytics, performance reporting, CRM discipline, and salesforce effectiveness for the MONARCH organization. This role ensures pipeline visibility, demand planning accuracy, and operational consistency across the capital and clinical sales teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drive sales reporting processes that produce accurate and consistent results and contribute to the creation of sales performance dashboards that allow sales team members and business to monitor sales forecasts, track key performance indicators, and ensure continuous improvement.
Enhance current and contribute to the implementation of future enabling resources and technologies including customer relationship management systems, performance tools, incentive management, and order-to-cash.
Lead the day-to-day use and maintenance of selected tools.
Assess current global sales order management and CRM strategy and implement process improvements in line with J&J MedTech initiatives.
Serve as the MONARCH Platform’s Project Butterfly and Project Transend business lead. Responsible for managing operational aspects of any direct reports (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders and sales leaders in the business and across MedTech to facilitate successful commercial activities and ensure policies and procedures align and complement each other (eg for Launch Excellence programs).
Develop processes for utilizing metrics to generate insights that help senior management and sales leaders identify and understand the business drivers of key accounts and sales trends and build accurate sales forecasts.
Proactively creates a purpose driven environment by aligning Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the team and enterprise.
Qualifications:
Education:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree within business, marketing, or relevant discipline is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 8+ years of relevant business experience with an emphasis on commercial operations
Strategic thinker who is also highly operational and execution-driven
Experience with launching and selling medical technologies
Strong understanding of MedTech business processes, sales models, functional alignment, and customer dynamics, including scaling commercial processes across matrixed organizations
Experience in developing and utilizing metrics, forecasts, and KPI’s to generate insights to forecast sales, monitor sales performance, and continuously improve
Competence with Customer Relationship Management and analytics tools
Deep understanding of Project/Portfolio Management systems and tools is an asset
Ability to influence and partner cross functionally, with good communication skills and a change leader mindset comfortable with shaping culture, skills, and ways of working in the MedTech space
Excels in environments with ambiguity, transformation, and cross-functional complexity

This role can be based out of Santa Clara, CA., Cincinnati, OH., or Raritan, NJ.
This role may require up to 20% travel (domestic and international)
Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $122,000 to $212,750
For candidates based out of the Bay Area, CA the anticipated base pay range is $142,000 to $244,950
