About the role
We are growing quickly, and an opportunity has developed on our Sales team for an Account Executive. As our Account Executive, you will be selling Shift Markets’ reconfigurable, white-label exchange technology to fintechs, brokers, and institutional clients across Latin America.
This role offers meaningful autonomy, exposure to global markets, and the opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly scaling sales organization. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced B2B salesperson who thrives in solution selling, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and is motivated by expanding into new and underserved markets. This role will interact with a broad range of potential clients throughout LatAm, so fluency in written and spoken Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for Shift Markets’ exchange technology, from prospecting and discovery through to contract close.
Identify and engage new clients in assigned regions, with a strong focus on outbound and relationship-driven sales.
Conduct consultative discovery calls to understand client needs and position tailored exchange solutions.
Present and demo Shift Markets’ white-label exchange platform to founders, executives, and decision-makers.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools.
Collaborate closely with sales leadership, product, and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements.
Represent Shift Markets at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to grow regional presence.
Maintain long-term relationships with clients post-sale to support expansion, upsell, and retention.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills
Thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment
3–6+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within fintech, SaaS, financial services, or crypto-adjacent industries.
Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals in a competitive, consultative sales environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote, global team.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and selling an evolving, configurable technology product.
Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential for candidates with strong commercial experience.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience selling into LATAM markets.
Existing network within fintech, crypto, or financial services ecosystems.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho.
Openness to using AI and modern sales tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to improve productivity and research.
Qualifications
3–6+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within fintech, SaaS, financial services, or crypto-adjacent industries.
Bachelor’s degree
This position requires working 40 hours per week. Competitive compensation package. Compensation is based on experience and location.
