Role Description

This role involves delivering cloud solutions that influence business/IT transformation for our customers.

  • Directly engage with customers, partners, and internal AWS teams to orchestrate execution of target customer outcomes.
  • Define opportunities and understand associated business and technical risks strategic to the customer’s cloud journey.
  • Influence technical stakeholders at customer, pre and post sales, and drive detailed business and technical discussions.
  • Create, manage, and deliver business and technology initiative programs navigating risks, roadblocks, and constraints.
  • Serve as the customer’s cloud journey coach and be the voice of the customer within AWS.
  • Package best practice learnings into a reusable asset for internal re-use to support the evolution of the AWS customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, or a related field.
  • Ten years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Five years of experience in the following skills:
    • Leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership.
    • Experience with customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners.
    • Driving technology initiatives, including customer-facing experience delivering technology enabled transformations.
    • Working with Agile delivery.
    • Verbal and written communication, including progress updates, risk management, execution planning, and presentations.
    • Leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams and implementing cloud services.
    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, deployment processes and timelines.

Requirements

  • 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
