Opportunity!
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support our US and Canada region during a period of scaling and operational maturation. This role works closely with delivery leaders, practice leaders, and functional leadership to drive initiatives related to the employee experience. The HRBP brings a consultative approach, leveraging data and insights to guide leaders through people decisions and organizational change.
As a member of the People Experience team, the HRBP also helps shape scalable people programs that support Modus’ continued growth and culture.
What you will get to do:
- Partner with leadership to translate business priorities into people strategies.
- Provide guidance on organizational structure, team effectiveness, and talent planning.
- Lead and support change management initiatives including reorganizations, leadership transitions, and growth initiatives.
- Champion a positive employee experience aligned with Modus values and culture.
- Partner with leaders to improve retention and career development opportunities, navigate complex team dynamics and organizational challenges..
- Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and team leadership.
- Support the development of emerging leaders across practices.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters with a focus on fairness, consistency, and trust partnering with legal when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws and regulations, providing guidance to leaders on policies, employee relations matters, and risk mitigation across jurisdictions.
- Support the administration and communication of employee benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and clear employee guidance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
- 8+ years of HR experience, including HR business partnering
- Experience working with distributed or global teams
- Expertise across various HR/People channels, including compensation & benefits, compliance, employee relations, and learning and development.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure, outcome-oriented environments.
- Clear, empathetic, and effective communicator, adept at adjusting approaches based on audience needs.
- Experience with performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting.
- Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently.
- Experience helping global and/or highly matrixed organizations scale
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates project management and change management experience
- Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams
