Job Description

• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Practice Adoption and others to identify user problems and shape how they will be solved. • Gather, articulate, and visualize key concepts and patterns using storyboards, user journey maps, etc. in order to drive strong cross functional alignment and enable effective decision-making about possible approaches. • Deliver user flows, low fidelity prototypes, high fidelity design comps, and build specifications for high quality digital workflows that fit within broader end-to-end service experiences. • Support engineering delivery with design documentation, rationale, and conversations that ensures intent is translated to the end user experience. • Contribute to the evolution of our Experience Design & Research practice, playbook, and knowledge base.

Job Requirements

6+ years of professional experience in product and interaction design
Fluency in usability best practices and their application to unique design challenges
Fluency and skill with a variety of design related tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, etc.).
A portfolio showing deep expertise in multiple facets (two or more) of experience design, particularly interaction design, visual design, and content design.
Experience designing and prototyping end-to-end digital experiences with cross-functional teams working in iterative environments.
Demonstrated expertise designing complex analytic, decision support and workflow applications.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional partners to gather information and navigate tradeoffs.
Experience designing and integrating AI capabilities into product experiences
Solid communication and storytelling skills – can clearly articulate the what, why, and how of their approaches and tailor a message to the audience.
Experience applying research based insights to designs
Understanding of and commitment to inclusive and accessible design
Experience working in complex health care product and service contexts (particularly in population health, clinical decision support, and direct patient care)
Knowledge of modern product development methodologies (design thinking, lean, agile, etc…)
