Job Description

• Oversee market strategy, business development, sales, and relationship management for Network Participants • Execute long-term and short-term strategic Acceptance and Acquiring initiatives • Serve as the relationship manager for multiple complex partner relationships • Perform market analyses to drive acceptance • Explore new partnership opportunities that drive acceptance • Manage client portfolio and existing relationships • Lead a cross-functional team to support the clients and fulfill business needs • Drive internal processes including development of communications, account management, approval requests, contract negotiations, compliance and risk management • Build and maintain business development plans and marketing initiatives • Negotiate contracts with existing and new partners • Ensure resolution of all Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and governance issues • Leverage understanding of the competitive landscape to inform market strategy and KPI analysis • Coordinate and arrange client events, sponsorships, and meetings • Ability to travel 35% to meet with clients

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 7 years of business development, sales, marketing or relationship management experience within the payments industry
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing (preferred)
  • Experience with payment acquiring business
  • Technical expertise in mobile payments, vehicle commerce, Secure Remote Commerce (SRC), payment chip technology or IOT emerging technologies (preferred)
  • Experience executing business development across different card products and new payment technologies (preferred)
