We are currently seeking a Recruiter here at DSN to support our client’s Engineering, Project Management, and IT staffing needs. The focus of the Recruiter is to make connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to achieve their employment goals. Though our team works remotely, we continue to offer a fun and collaborative team-oriented environment with occasional onsite meetings and holiday parties in our Naperville, IL office!
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, tracking, providing applicant feedback, reference checking, salary negotiation and extending offers.
- Sourcing and identifying qualified applicants through the use of job boards and other methods.
- Screening qualified applicants against the job description over the phone or through MS Teams video face-to-face meetings to gauge skills.
- Following up with all candidates throughout the hiring process, ask for referrals, and use a database to track and build a solid network of technical candidates who may fit future job descriptions.
- Presenting qualified and screened resumes with preparedness to answer any questions regarding the candidate’s qualifications.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 year of recruiting experience working with social services, cost allocation or other consulting services.
- The ability to network and identify active and passive candidates, whose interest in new opportunities requires relationship building and trust.
- Sense of competitiveness and urgency for goal achievement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to constantly multi-task and prioritize projects at hand.
- Accountability focused on results.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional social skills and ability to meet, interview and assess people.
- Team player that understands the value of working collaboratively with other members of the DSN team.
