• Perform onsite life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities at customer sites • Includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics • Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline • May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area • Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience • Understand how work of own team contributes to the area • Resolve issues using established procedures • Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters • Collaborate with others to solve issues • Develop strong customer relationships for customer-facing roles • Serve as the interface between customer and GE • Exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding
