• Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects related to fiber optic network infrastructure • Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures • Provides technical support to Project Managers • Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, budget and accounting records • Performs change order estimating and assists in negotiations • Assists in managing and reviewing contractors’ construction schedules • Reports project status to business and market leaders • Attends client program meetings as needed • Reviews weekly and monthly reports on contracts’ status and progress • Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals • Responsible for daily management of Construction Technicians • Develops and implements procedures to better organize team/department • Ensures project construction and documentation according to contract documents and good engineering practices
