Job Description
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Venue Search team
• Oversee sourcing strategy, destination recommendations, and venue selection for client programs
• Manage team workload, performance, SOP compliance, and service quality
• Serve as the escalation point for client issues
• Strengthen supplier relationships and identify new partners
• Drive process improvements and workflow efficiency
• Support financial management including budgets and contract review
Job Requirements
- 10+ years in sourcing, negotiating, or contracting within meetings/events/hospitality
- 2–3 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of event industry trends
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Cvent, Monday.com, or Smartsheet is a plus
- CMP, Bachelor’s degree, or hotel operations background preferred
