Job Description
Job Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the U.S. and in the state of hire OR
- Active compact multistate RN license (as defined by the Nurse Licensure Compact)
- Associate Degree in Nursing OR
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Two years of clinical experience plus at least two years in one of the following:
- Inpatient/Outpatient settings (i.e. medical-surgical, rehabilitation, SNF, etc..)
- Utilization/Medical Review
- Quality Assurance
- Strong clinical background in managed care and/or inpatient/outpatient settings
- Ability to interpret and apply medical review criteria and clinical guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and word processing software
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities effectively
- Excellent customer service, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Medical Assistant - Case Review Specialist
STGiReceives FOH program direction from the FOH Medical Director or designee. Notifies FOH Medical Director or designee of any planned Leave of absence using established processes. Attends all monthly RMO calls in real time or by viewing recorded sessions. Presents interesting case or topic to RMOs apropos to law enforcement or medical surveillance at least once each calendar year. Completes all required training and demonstrates proficiency in using FOH IT systems for the performance of reviews and communication. Reviews and complies with all federal cybersecurity policies and standard operating procedures. Demonstrates a high level of professional conduct. Provides quality work products in a short time frame, which is pre-determined by the type of work that is to be completed. Works with designated management, safety, and human relations personnel of federal agency clients on all matters pertaining to occupational health and safety and related programs and services.
