Otis Elevator is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager, Modernization to lead our team in the growth of our modernization business. The Operating Area Sales Manager will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and measuring all modernization sales processes, providing direction for continuous improvement initiatives and meeting or exceeding the Operating Area’s business objectives.
Location:
Role is fully remote, with the ability to be based from any Central Otis location.
Requires 25%–50% travel
On a typical day you will:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Oversee sales strategy including integration of sales growth; pricing analysis and market segment share objectives for assigned branches
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of MOD sales representatives, providing guidance, and training to enhance their performance.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team, Operating Territory Managers, and branch leaders to identify and help execute strategic goals and objectives
- Customer Relationship Management: Nurture relationships with existing key customers; consultants; and be responsible for helping develop new ones.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- You may expect local travel
What you will need to be successful
- 5+ years of sales experience required; elevator modernization sales experience required
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Sales leadership experience desired
