Role Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of BioPro Test Engineer. This is a full time, temporary role.

  • Perform thorough testing of technology systems, software and procedures to ensure proper operation, freedom from defects and that information systems, products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade test scripts and architectures for application products.
  • Apply specialized technical expertise to solve critical issues and execute projects of high complexity, scope, size and/or risk.
  • Serve as a lead on projects, provide training and guidance to other staff.
  • Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

The work location for this position is 100% virtual/work from home. While the position can be worked from anywhere in the United States, the preferred work hours are on an East Coast schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Ability to be 24-hour on-call during period of major disaster.
  • Travel may be required.

  • Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions.
  • Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs.
  • Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time.
  • May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
