Responsibilities
The CDHP Plan Consultant is responsible for managing client relationships; the setup of new clients; preparing and maintaining documents; preparing the 5500, enrollment materials, and other duties applicable to the clients’ accounts.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for the setup of new clients
- Comprehension in Sections 105, 125, and 129 regulations and administration
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining documents
- Preparation of the 5500
- Run non-discrimination testing
- Responsible for loading payroll/eligibility files
- Preparation of enrollment material
- Manage client relationships
- Banking backup and support
- Report preparation and analysis
- Assist with software release testing, including banking functions
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Ability to learn and work in a remote setting
- Available for at minimum quarterly training with supervisor and other members of team
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with, all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion
Ancillary Duties:
As an integral member of the organization, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the department and the Company in achieving their goals.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree in related field preferred.
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Competencies:
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Assist with problem resolutions
- Ability to be highly organized and show an attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask
- Display an intermediate level competency with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel, as well as personal computer skills
Experience:
- Three to five years of consumer driven health plan administration preferred
