Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager with a commitment to excellence and a knack for turning challenges into opportunities. Join our U.S. Health Project Management Office as a Project Manager, where you'll lead initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency.
This is a virtual role with the ability to work remotely anywhere in the Continental United States.

What the day will look like
- The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, implement, control, close) of the project. Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- The PM is also responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule and risk management plan to ensure timely completion of the project. May connect with a Senior Project Manager, Functional Area Manager, or Program Manager regarding project status.
- In addition, the PM takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Collaborate with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 8-10 years project management experience
- Experience communicating effectively with high levels of management and direct client contact
- Experience with software methodology development processes
- Ability to build presentations and write business cases for senior leadership
- Ability to work under tight deadlines handling multiple key business priorities
- Project budgeting/costing expertise
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Proficient in MS Project or other PM tools
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing large, sophisticated initiatives across a multi-functional team
- Experience establishing project metrics, Key Performance Indicators, and measuring project results
Education
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree desired but not required
- PMP Certification or working toward certification within 12 months
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
