Role Description
We are currently looking for a Compensation Programs Specialist in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and managing a variety of compensation programs that drive fairness, transparency, and alignment across the organization. You will collaborate closely with People, Finance, Recruiting, and Payroll teams to ensure smooth administration of both cyclical and non-cyclical compensation initiatives. The position offers the chance to influence process improvements, maintain accurate data, and support program design that impacts employee experience and engagement. You will handle equity grants, data audits, and resource updates, contributing to a high-growth, process-oriented environment. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced settings where accuracy and proactive communication are essential.
- Administer non-cyclical compensation programs end-to-end, including nominations, approvals, and processing with internal and external partners
- Support bi-annual compensation cycles through data audits, cash/equity reviews, and survey submissions
- Coordinate equity grants in alignment with policies and partner operations
- Maintain and update compensation resources such as playbooks, tables, hubs, and job architecture documentation
- Identify process gaps and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with People and Finance teams on program design and implementation
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, People Operations, or similar functions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivots, and modeling
- Clear, proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate across People, Finance, Legal, and business teams
- Comfortable thriving in high-growth, process-building, and fast-paced environments
- Preferred: experience with HRIS systems (Workday) or compensation tools (Shareworks, Carta), equity compensation administration, and familiarity with survey/data providers such as Radford, Aon, or Mercer
