Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge tax advisory software to accountants, CPA firms, and Financial Advisors. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who thrives in a competitive sales environment and has a proven track record of success in outside sales within the accounting vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed annualized sales revenue quota by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients in the accounting, CPA firm, and Financial Advisor sectors.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry connections.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our tax advisory software.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute targeted sales campaigns and promotions.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable for both the client and the company.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to the executive team, including detailed account plans and progress reports.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the regulatory environment related to tax advisory services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated success in outside sales with a focus on B2B in the accounting vertical.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas consistently.
- Experience selling software solutions, preferably in the tax advisory or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting practices and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
