Role Overview

 

We are seeking a highly qualified Field Service Engineer to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced battery energy storage systems deployed across a range of industries. Serving as the technical authority onsite, you will ensure systems operate at peak performance while upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering superior customer service and reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support. 
  • Diagnosing and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software issues for battery systems both remotely and on-site 
  • Manage third party contractors 
  • Provide onsite technical support and training to customers on system operation and safety. 
  • Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports accurately. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations. 
  • Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions. 
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and service-level agreements  
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience). 
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in field service, preferably within battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics. 
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools. 
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
