Role Description
We are looking for a hardworking Senior Technical Game Designer to focus on creating systems, mechanics, prototypes, workflows, and pipelines. You will work with experienced developers to push innovation, agency, quality, and fidelity for next-gen gameplay and storytelling.
- Create new mechanics, systems, event scripting, and interactive objects.
- Design, prototype, and implement gameplay systems from the ground up.
- Extend and iterate on existing systems to deliver a polished, high-quality player experience.
- Work with engineering, animation, and design teams to implement content, solve workflow issues, and create content pipelines.
- Communicate your vision to the rest of the team and collaborate effectively.
- Plan out and prioritize your development schedule with producers.
- Know the most important parts of your design and have plans to reduce scope if necessary.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine and Blueprints.
- Experience with text-based scripting and programming languages (e.g., XML, PERL, C++).
- Knowledge of and interest in the type of game we are making.
- Knowledge of art packages such as Maya, Max, and the Adobe suite is a plus.

- Have a cinematic eye and the ability to conceptualize and pitch game systems and mechanics.
- Take ownership of your content and be responsible for features to ship once approved.
- Be creative and proactive in pitching concepts that will enhance the game.
- Be a generalist and learn skills that will help you complete your vision.
- Be responsible for checking in script and level content without review.
