Role Description
As Ambient’s Assistant General Counsel, you will provide legal support across the organization, focusing on:
- Corporate governance
- Commercial contracting
- Compliance
- Litigation management
- M&A transactions
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to manage complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus most on our subsidiaries and growth in the East and Midwest regions. You can be remote but should be available to work EST and/or CST hours.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to a state bar in good standing.
- 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate or large law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with business leaders.
- Experience in M&A transactions and integration preferred.
- Familiarity with employment law and intellectual property matters a plus.
- Comfort with technology-driven contract management tools a plus.

Benefits
- Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $240,000 with flexibility depending on experience.
