Job Description
Role Description
This role involves supporting the Marketing team through the coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns and social media content for Royal Credit Union and its subsidiary brands.
- Assist with brand strategy, competitive analysis, and advertising coordination
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, including spending, reach, engagement, and effectiveness
- Support cross-department marketing initiatives by collaborating with internal teams
- Assist in content creation and brand strategy work, including copywriting and graphic design
- Manage and strengthen social media engagement, maintaining content calendars and operating subsidiary brand social media channels
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a University or Technical College program related to Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, or similar field
- Must be bondable
- Experience with creative and video production software, such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Understanding of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and work collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute ideas to team projects
- Demonstrated work ethic and flexibility in adapting to changing needs and deadlines
Requirements
- Working approximately 12-15 hours per week during the school year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer
- Must be able to work remotely throughout the school year and during breaks
- This is a limited term, non-benefit eligible position from May 2026 through May 2027
- Must be able to commit to the 12-month internship
Benefits
- Compensation: $19.86-22.24 per hour (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)
