Role Description

This role offers a high-impact opportunity to act as the technical lead in enterprise sales, bridging complex financial technology solutions with customer business needs. You will partner closely with Account Executives to guide prospective clients through technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and solution design. By understanding client requirements deeply, you’ll create tailored architectures, provide expert product demonstrations, and address technical challenges to accelerate deal progression. This position requires both technical acumen and business insight, offering a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions directly influence adoption, customer success, and revenue outcomes. You will also help translate client feedback into product insights, mentor peers, and continually refine the pre-sales process.

  • Serve as the technical lead for enterprise accounts throughout the pre-sales process, providing subject matter expertise and guidance.
  • Partner with Account Executives to design solutions, demonstrate product capabilities, and align offerings with client use cases.
  • Engage with technical stakeholders to address questions, overcome objections, and secure buy-in.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs), diagnose issues, and optimize performance to ensure successful evaluations.
  • Respond to RFPs, provide demonstrations, and architect implementation strategies in an efficient and thorough manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate prospect feedback into actionable product insights.
  • Continuously improve sales assets, messaging, and pre-sales processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and support other sales engineers to elevate team capabilities and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of customer-facing experience selling complex solutions to large enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with identity verification, fraud prevention (stolen, synthetic, or first-party), income verification, or cash flow underwriting.
  • Experience with insights products and analytics, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web application architecture, APIs, and technical integration considerations.
  • Excellent communication, consultative selling, and client management skills, with a proactive and confident approach.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and complex concepts.
  • Strong sense of customer empathy and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
