Role Description
This role involves supporting a leading AI research lab in improving how advanced AI systems understand real-world accounting workflows, financial reporting, and audit processes.
- Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Review AI-generated financial statements, disclosures, audit working papers, and management reports
- Simulate and audit workflows related to financial close processes, reconciliations, tax filings, and internal controls
- Identify gaps or inaccuracies in AI reasoning related to accounting workflows and financial reporting
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI understanding of real-world accounting processes
- Apply consistent evaluation frameworks to produce high-quality review outputs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional accounting or auditing experience
- Experience working in public accounting firms (e.g., Big Four), corporate finance teams, or financial reporting roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting frameworks
- Experience with financial close processes, reconciliations, and audit documentation
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication with strong grammar and documentation skills
Requirements
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA
- Experience in tax compliance, financial consolidations, or internal controls
- Background in forensic accounting, nonprofit accounting, government accounting, or cross-border accounting

- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
- Projects may extend or adjust depending on scope and performance
