Role Description
Granicus, the largest cloud solutions provider for government, is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to support and manage our international payroll operations. Our technology empowers government organizations to improve the lives of the communities they serve — and you can be part of that mission.
- Manage payroll workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing for both domestic and international employees.
- Deliver excellent customer service through proactive communication and effective issue escalation.
- Reconcile payroll reports, validating payroll taxes, benefit deductions, and pension contributions.
- Collaborate with the Benefits team to ensure correct benefit deductions and taxation.
- Review payroll tax reconciliations and quarterly filings to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Maintain audit trails and documentation for all payroll transactions.
- Support HR management with compliance requests related to compensation, taxation, and reporting.
- Prepare employer tax forms.
- Respond to employee and leadership inquiries about payroll matters.
- Create financial, personnel, and operational reports, including monthly executive summaries.
- Own and optimize payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.

Support broader payroll operations, including:
- Acting as backup during payroll cycles
- Assisting with payroll transitions in M&A activity
- Handling employment and income verification requests
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of payroll administration experience across multiple countries.
- CPP or FPC certification (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills across all levels.
- Solid understanding of accounting basics and payroll best practices.
- Strong knowledge of labor and compensation regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (required).
- Experience with UKG (UltiPro) is a plus.
