Role Description
We are seeking an experienced ACO Program Manager to join our Value Based Operations team within BrightSpring’s Population Health Services organization. This role is strategically important to the organization as we expand our ACO capabilities.
The ACO Program Manager is accountable for day-to-day execution of MSSP ACO requirements, is an internal subject matter expert and trusted cross-functional partner. This person will be motivated by our mission to deliver healthcare to vulnerable patient populations across the country.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain in-depth knowledge of ACO program rules and requirements, and translate those rules and requirements into business and operational execution
- Build/revise program design, iterate to scale and improved outcomes
- Lead ACO program implementation as the practice evolves ACO participation
- Data reconciliation and analysis across multiple data sources creating insights for teammates and leadership
- Identify opportunities for program improvement, intervention, issue escalation, etc. grounded in regular performance monitoring
- Collaboration with internal and external partners to review or resolve programmatic needs
Responsibilities
- Work with our VP VBO to ensure that all required program activities are completed, and that primary care is successful in a subset of our ACOs
- Execute on ACO program requirements including member/provider communications and policy and procedure development
- Monitor and summarize CMS communications and policies to identify notices, policy or regulation changes to ACO program that may impact Primary Care
- Prepare internal and external communication materials to support ACO operations
- Engage with other team members including IT, sales, finance, and clinical to ensure completion of ACO program requirements
- Build trusting relationships with internal teams to influence and support successful performance in ACO programs
- Program design and deployment of a performance management process to drive execution and target achievement for partnered network and employed providers
- Identification and management of network curation opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in health care administration, business or other healthcare related field
- Bonus for Master degree in business administration, public health, or other related degree field
- 3-5 years of ACO program management (MSSP, REACH) or related experience
- Healthcare quality management and/or transformation experience in a primary care or other value based organization
- Understanding of the value based care industry
- Knowledge of primary care operations, bonus if within LTC and AL patient populations
- Analytic skills to collect information from diverse sources and summarize the information and data to solve problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in systems including Microsoft Office, HER
- Strong analytical skill set, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, PowerBI/analytic platform
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to comply with HIPAA guidelines
- Ownership mentality that shows up as taking action, thinking creatively, and finding iterative ways to improve
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change while simultaneously building new processes and revising existing ones
- Variable travel for training, shadowing and team meetings (quarterly at most)
