Role Description
The Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach online courses in Psychology.
- Courses may include, but are not limited to: Introduction to Psychology, Infant and Child Development.
- To teach graduate-level courses, applicants should hold an earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology.
- To teach undergraduate-level courses, applicants should hold an earned Master's degree or higher in Psychology or a relevant field.
- Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs.
- Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise.
- Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
- Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application; official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.
Qualifications
- For Undergraduate Courses: Earned Master's degree in Psychology or related field at time of appointment.
- For Graduate Courses: Earned Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution at time of appointment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Psychology.
