Job Description

• Securing new partnerships for The Wikipedia Library that address community requests, gaps in existing coverage, and potential for impact. • Supporting partners in The Wikipedia Library to make their content accessible and troubleshooting issues when they arise. • Regularly communicating with partners and renewing agreements to ensure continuity of access to resources. • Developing your product knowledge of The Wikipedia Library and understanding of Wikipedia citation practices and policies and guidelines in order to effectively communicate the proposition to partners. • Identifying and communicating the needs of partners to the Product Manager to improve partner experience and the overall efficiency of the program. • Collaborating with colleagues in Community Growth to develop a small menu of partner engagement opportunities, such as events, learning, and research. • Using both Wikimedia and partner data to analyse the impact of the program, with support from the Data, Evaluation & Learning team. • Collaborating with the communications team to highlight the library’s partnerships and impact for internal and external audiences.

Job Requirements

  • Professional experience in publishing, media, or a related field, including collaboration with partners or networks.
  • Proven flair for communicating ideas, with excellent written and spoken English and the ability to analyze data to uncover insights and tell stories.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to working across departments, in a distributed and cross-cultural environment.
  • Able to connect with partners who are typically based in UTC+2 to UTC-5 timezones and make 3 international trips each year.
  • Typically requires 5+ years professional experience in addition to a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years experience with a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
