Role Description

The Associate, Data & Analytics provides essential support to the business management team by assisting with day-to-day operations and through the development of data insights reporting. You will develop a deep understanding of the related data sources and leverage them to inform business decisions. You will also develop a deep understanding of our analytical tools and the automation of business processes and decision-making. You will need to leverage diverse problem-solving strategies and balance multiple simultaneous efforts in a dynamic environment. You will be expected to delve into business problems and analyze opportunities for growth. You will meet the analytical needs of the business and deliver actionable plans for improving our business. The associate works closely under the guidance of leadership, learning key business processes, and contributing to the delivery of business objectives through analytical and operational support.

  • Gather, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Build and maintain business models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Develop financial forecasts and projections to support strategic and long-term planning
  • Track and analyze the company's financial performance and cost management
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and business insights to management to help guide decisions and improve financial performance
  • Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to stakeholders and senior management
  • Automate and enhance repeatable tasks using programming and analytics tools
  • Own the business analysis that helps to run the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient in programming tools including Python, SQL, and R
  • 5 plus years of experience in a data analyst, data management and business intelligence role
  • Experience within the financial services or wealth management industry
  • Proficient in data and analytics tools including Power BI, Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel
  • Strong analytical acumen helping to understand trends and key data points that will help leadership run the business
  • Proven track record of successful program leadership in complex environments
  • Strong ability to design and execute business strategies and financial oversight
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in crafting executive content and managing internal and external messaging
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing resources, developing performance standards, and leading business development initiatives
