Role Description
This role involves driving new business by collaborating with outside sales and marketing teams.
- Supported by a comprehensive, fully integrated marketing program featuring multi-channel activities
- Leverage marketing automation and behavioral scoring to identify ‘warm leads’ and ideal customers
- Develop a strategic territory plan to uncover new prospects in high-impact areas
- Research and identify potential accounts; solicit new accounts; build rapport
- Provide evaluation and technical information to prospects; prepare discovery documentation
- Collaborate with marketing to nurture and engage marketing-qualified opportunities
- Actively manage your territory and identify top targets
- Work with field sales to schedule appointments
- Achieve department and organizational goals by taking ownership of your territory
Qualifications
- A college degree, typically in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing/Communications, Psychology, or a related field
- 1–3+ years of sales experience in the software/tech industry in various capacities
- Proficiency in basic computer programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is a plus
