Role Description
Lead a high‑performing Commercial Middle Market team focused on business development, portfolio management, and client relationship growth. This role drives new revenue opportunities while ensuring strong credit quality and compliance. You’ll shape strategy, coach talent, and deepen client impact across a diverse regional portfolio.
- Manage and grow client relationships by evaluating financial data, structuring credit solutions, and overseeing portfolio performance.
- Drive new business development by cultivating prospects, expanding existing relationships, and leading deal teams on major opportunities.
- Ensure strong credit quality by monitoring portfolio risk, repayment trends, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
- Partner across Treasury Management, Private Banking, and other business lines to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate team members, setting clear goals and providing ongoing training and performance feedback.
- Lead loan presentations and participate in the Loan Approval Process, recommending appropriate credit structures.
- Represent the bank in community and business organizations to strengthen brand presence and build new connections.
- Serve as relationship manager for borrowing and non‑borrowing clients, maintaining expertise in Treasury Management and other key services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years in Commercial Real Estate, Commercial, or Corporate Banking.
- 2+ years of management experience leading teams of 5 or more.
