This role supports the HR function by assisting with full-cycle recruiting, coordinating job postings, and supporting employee engagement initiatives and culture programs. The Generalist will also maintain accurate employee records and provide support for onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration processes.

The role involves leading oversight of the Bank’s BSA/AML and sanctions compliance programs, including managing regulatory examinations and high-risk customer due diligence, such as for cannabis-related businesses. Additionally, the officer will conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments, improve financial crime controls, and provide essential compliance training to staff and leadership.

This temporary role involves providing hands-on operational support across vendor oversight and related compliance processes within the bank's compliance function. Key duties include organizing and maintaining vendor documentation, tracking renewals and required materials, and assisting with risk classification and audit preparation.
