Overview
We are looking for a driven and passionate Marketing Designer to join our creative team at our agency. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-quality, visually appealing digital assets and campaigns for a variety of clients. Your designs will be used across a range of platforms, including compelling static and animated social ads, marketing emails, and landing pages for a variety of exciting brands.
You are a creative powerhouse with a deep understanding of digital platforms, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to push boundaries while meeting client objectives. As a Marketing Designer, you will take ownership of your work—from concept to execution—and collaborate closely with strategy, content, and digital teams to bring bold, effective ideas to life. Maine-based applicants preferred; hybrid roles considered.

What You’ll Do
Create Scroll-Stopping Ads: Develop innovative and high-performing static and animated Meta ads that captivate audiences and drive conversions, using tools like Figma, CapCut, Canva, and After Effects.
Ideate & Conceptualize: Both independently and in collaboration with strategists and marketers, brainstorm and execute fresh, bold creative ideas for ads and campaigns that stand out in crowded digital spaces.
Generate Original Content: create engaging, contextual photo and video content using both traditional tools and AI to deepen the execution of ads, emails, and landing pages.
Craft Engaging Emails: Design visually compelling email templates and campaigns, ensuring they align with best practices for performance and user engagement.
Support Multi-Channel Campaigns: Design assets for additional platforms like Google Display and landing pages, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
Keep Creative Fresh: Regularly refresh and optimize high-performing creative based on campaign performance data, ensuring ads and emails remain relevant and effective.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with strategists, copywriters, and marketers to align creative direction with campaign goals and audience needs.
Bring Motion to Life: Add animation and motion to ads and creative assets, leveraging tools like CapCut, Figma, Canva, and After Effects to bring dynamic ideas to life.
Experiment & Innovate: Test new concepts, visual styles, and creative approaches to discover what resonates with audiences and drives results.
Present & Refine Designs: Confidently share your creative work with clients, articulate your thinking, and incorporate feedback to deliver polished final assets.
Manage Your Workflow: Stay organized and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with design and platform trends, exploring new creative ideas that elevate our work and push boundaries.
What We’d Like To See
- Proven Expertise: 3+ years of experience in a design role focused on Meta ads, email marketing, or performance-driven campaigns, preferably in an agency or for high-performing brands.
- Figma Mastery: Extensive experience designing in Figma, including creating templates, prototypes, and layouts for both ads and emails.
- CapCut Proficiency: Familiarity with CapCut to create and refine light animations for Meta ads and short-form digital content.
- Strong Adobe Skills: Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for secondary design tasks.
- Email Expertise: A strong understanding of email marketing best practices, responsive design principles, and user-centric layouts.
- Meta Advertising Know-How: Deep familiarity with Meta ad formats, specs, and design best practices for performance marketing.
- Portfolio of Results-Driven Work: A portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging digital designs that meet campaign objectives and drive results.
- Detail-Oriented & Strategic: A keen eye for detail, typography, composition, and hierarchy, paired with the ability to think strategically about design’s role in achieving performance goals.
- Adaptable & Curious: A growth-oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn new tools, trends, and techniques.
