Job Description

• Maintain proactive and consistent communication with brand partners to reinforce the value delivered by Basemakers. • Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, establishing trust and long-term partnership. • Respond quickly to inquiries and work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues and address partner needs. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including communication cadence, retention and attrition trends, and customer lifetime value. • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue with existing brand partners through thoughtful expansion initiatives and sales conversations. • Collaborate with field leadership to target priority markets and increase brand presence in key accounts. • Track and evaluate expansion efforts through metrics such as brands pitched, expansion success rate, and revenue growth. • Maintain a strong focus on brand partner satisfaction by understanding partner goals and delivering consistent support. • Look for opportunities to create thoughtful partner experiences through personalized touches and proactive engagement. • Document and track partner concerns or feedback to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement. • Measure success through brand partner feedback and satisfaction indicators. • Maintain accurate records of partner communications and activity within Salesforce and Notion. • Develop monthly reports that clearly communicate field team impact using data, insights, and visual storytelling. • Conduct research on brand partners, including distribution channels, growth potential, and alignment with expansion goals. • Leverage tools such as ChatGPT for communication drafting and Gong for call analysis to improve efficiency and insight generation. • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in field sales and merchandising. • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact between Basemakers and brand partners. • Communicate brand priorities and feedback to directors, regional managers, and account sales managers to ensure alignment across field teams. • Address challenges as they arise with thoughtful problem-solving and collaboration. • Contribute insights during department discussions to help solve regional challenges and improve brand performance.

Job Requirements

  • At least one year of experience at Basemakers strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to represent Basemakers professionally and clearly in all brand partner correspondence.
  • Proven experience in Basemakers field sales, retail execution, and account management.
  • Strong sales orientation with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering value-driven recommendations to partners.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with working proficiency in Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Docs/Word, Salesforce, and Notion.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities paired with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-accountability environment with ambitious expectations, tight timelines, frequent follow-up, and direct visibility from senior leadership, including regular interaction with the CEO on brand initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
