Role Description

The Member Care Advisor is a full-time remote position focused on delivering exceptional service and support to NCD members and providers.

  • Handle inbound and outbound communication with members and providers
  • Support clients via phone, email, and chat
  • Review member policies and answer questions regarding benefits, billing, enrollment updates, and disputes
  • Accurately document all interactions in CRM systems
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and services
  • Meet performance goals related to service quality, KPIs, attendance, and schedule adherence
  • Build trust with members and improve retention

During the SkillBridge period, participants will:

  • Complete 2–4 weeks of structured remote training
  • Learn insurance fundamentals and product knowledge
  • Receive systems training (CRM, communication platforms, internal tools)
  • Shadow experienced team members
  • Gradually assume live member interactions with coaching support
  • Receive regular feedback and performance development guidance

Qualifications

  • Active-duty service member within 180 days of separation
  • 2+ years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer systems
  • Ability to multitask across multiple platforms
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
