Role Description

This role involves strategic analysis and reporting, dashboard development, recruitment strategy support, and data management.

  • Develop and refine predictive enrollment models for all student populations.
  • Analyze enrollment funnel performance across undergraduate, graduate, and online programs.
  • Track and communicate key performance indicators throughout the admissions cycle.
  • Conduct comparative analyses across student populations and recruitment sources.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards tailored to decision-makers' needs.
  • Create executive-level dashboards providing high-level enrollment metrics.
  • Support recruitment and admission efforts with data analysis.
  • Evaluate impact and ROI of visit, event, and travel investments.
  • Serve as the primary expert in leveraging Slate CRM for data extraction and reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by providing analytical support.
  • Train and support admissions staff in understanding data insights and dashboard tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, business analytics, institutional research, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis (preferably in higher education admissions or enrollment management).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Slate CRM or similar admissions/CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python, or other statistical programming languages (preferred).
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner and Cognos (preferred).
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and digital engagement metrics (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platforms (preferred).
  • Understanding of higher education admissions processes and enrollment funnel dynamics (preferred).
  • Experience developing predictive models in an enrollment context (preferred).
  • Experience analyzing recruitment travel and event effectiveness (preferred).
