- Develop and execute a global legal strategy for privacy and data security.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration on privacy aspects of contracts.
- Provide expert guidance on privacy, security, and compliance matters.
- Oversee incident management and legal response strategies.
- Ensure legal requirements are integrated into technical operations.
- Support the Security, Engineering, and IT teams in compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of legal experience, with 5 years focused on privacy and data security.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in commercial contracts.
- Proven leadership experience in high-growth or SaaS settings.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture and data flow.
- J.D. from an accredited law school with an active license to practice.
- Knowledge of global privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
- Pragmatic mindset prioritizing business enablement while managing risk.
