Role Description
The Regulatory & Trade Compliance Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide regulatory and international trade compliance programs. This role ensures adherence to applicable federal regulations, export/import controls, sanctions requirements, and internal compliance standards.
- Develop and manage regulatory compliance and trade compliance programs
- Ensure adherence to U.S. export control laws, sanctions regulations, and import requirements
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies accordingly
- Implement compliance training programs across the organization
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
- Oversee internal controls and compliance reporting processes
- Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and global partners
- Lead investigations related to potential compliance issues
- Provide executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, International Business, Compliance, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in regulatory compliance, trade compliance, or risk management
- Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks (e.g., export/import controls, sanctions compliance)
- Experience developing and managing compliance programs
- Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience working cross-functionally with leadership teams
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must currently reside within the United States

Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
- Experience in regulated industries (technology, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, or finance)
- Familiarity with global trade management systems
- Experience managing audits and regulatory examinations
- Masters degree or advanced compliance training
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $115,000 – $150,000 USD, based on experience, industry expertise, and program scope
- Performance-based bonuses may apply
