Job Description
This role involves leading both strategic oversight and hands-on management of third-party fulfillment providers to ensure efficient, compliant loan closing and post-closing operations.
Continuously improve systems and workflows to support scalable, high-quality execution.
Shape closing and post-closing infrastructure by building workflows, SOPs, SLAs, and quality control frameworks.
Partner closely with engineering to design automation-first, scalable operational solutions.
This is a full-time remote role.
Job Requirements
- Deep expertise across the full closing and post-closing lifecycle.
- Comprehensive knowledge of residential mortgage regulations at the federal and state levels.
- Systems-oriented leader with a clear vision for building scalable, modular closing infrastructure.
- Compliance-first mindset while balancing performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Prioritize software-driven, long-term solutions over manual workarounds.
- Comfortable managing multiple third-party fulfillment partners.
- Thrive in collaborative, high-accountability environments.
- 10+ years of experience in mortgage closing and post-closing operations across Conventional, Jumbo, Non-QM, and Government loan products (purchase and refinance).
- Demonstrated experience building workflows, training materials, SOPs, SLAs, and QC programs.
- Strong systems configuration and optimization experience.
- Proven leadership of decentralized teams.
- Experience managing strategic third-party fulfillment partners.
- Prior experience within a fintech or technology-enabled mortgage environment preferred.
