About the Role The CMMC CA Lead (Consultant) leads RSI Security’s CMMC assessment and certification engagements. This role supports client projects as an independent contractor, leading assessment teams, ensuring quality and consistency, and serving as the primary liaison for assigned engagements. The consultant represents RSI Security in engagements with DoD contractors and stakeholders while contributing to methodology and practice improvements. The ideal consultant is a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) with deep knowledge of CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and related frameworks, plus experience leading compliance engagements from readiness through certification. What You'll Do Conduct and lead CMMC Level 1–3 readiness and certification assessments. Advise clients on certification pathways, CMMC requirements, and remediation plans.   • Maintain awareness of evolving DoD and CMMC-AB requirements; contribute insights to RSI forums and service improvement efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive, actionable assessment reports.
