Job Description

• Perform advanced inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on solar energy systems • Lead by example in promoting a safe working environment • Create and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs • Independently diagnose and troubleshoot system issues • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies • Share knowledge and expertise with junior technicians • Travel on short notice and be available during non-traditional working hours • Perform comprehensive inspections including electrical and mechanical components.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in the solar industry or related field
Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems, solar energy principles, and grid-tied systems
Knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems preferred
OSHA 30-hour and NFPA 70e certification preferred
FAA Part 107 Certification
Familiar operating Drones for Aerial Thermographic purposes
Familiar with the use of diagnostic tools such as I/V Curve Tracers, Meggers, and Isolation testers
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
