In this role, you will lead complex renewable energy and infrastructure investments, driving transaction execution and portfolio management from origination through closing. You will work closely with developers, sponsors, and investors to structure, negotiate, and execute tax equity and preferred equity investments. This position requires balancing detailed financial analysis with relationship management, presenting investment opportunities to committees, and collaborating with Legal, Tax, and Risk teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will mentor junior team members, leverage technology and AI tools to streamline workflows, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The role is ideal for professionals who combine strong technical expertise with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Lead execution of tax equity and preferred equity transactions, including negotiation with sponsors, investors, and external advisors. Prepare and present investment opportunities to Investment Committees, highlighting economics, structural terms, risks, and mitigants. Oversee and review financial models, providing guidance on assumptions, sensitivities, and risk scenarios. Collaborate with Legal, Tax, and Risk teams to ensure compliance with IRS rules, safe harbor tests, and recapture protections. Manage client relationships with both developers/sponsors and investors, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution. Support business development by identifying opportunities to scale programmatic relationships with high-quality sponsors and investors. Mentor and train junior team members on modeling, execution, and investment best practices. Utilize technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline diligence, negotiations, and committee preparation.
