Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred
- Degrees in other engineering disciplines will be considered with relevant pump or rotating equipment experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in rotating equipment, with a strong preference for direct experience in centrifugal pumps, pump packaging, or industrial fluid‑handling systems
- Experience with engineered to order products, proposal development, and specification review
- Experience supporting sales teams or working in an applications engineering capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly present technical information
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pump selection/configuration software
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., API, ANSI, Hydraulic Institute)
- Self‑starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Customer‑focused mindset with professional responsiveness
