Job Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in a Database Administrator, Database Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on modernizing legacy systems.
- Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
- Technical Skills: Expert-level SQL skills and experience with relational/NoSQL databases.
- Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python is highly preferred).
- Best Practices: Understanding database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related experience.
- Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with DataOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Spark).
- Cloud Certification (AWS Certified Database, Azure Data Engineer).
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau).
