Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Solution Advisor/Director to join our Supply Chain Advisory team as a leader/coach and team player. In this elevated role, you will provide enterprise-level architectural leadership, guiding customers through transformational supply chain strategies that integrate Blue Yonder’s solutions across their broader technology ecosystems.
Shape long-term solution roadmaps and influence executive decision-making.
Ensure architectural integrity across large, complex, and multi-solution engagements.
Drive customer value realization by delivering future-proof, scalable, and differentiated supply chain architectures that support customers’ strategic objectives.
What you’ll do
Lead and develop a cross-industry Solution Advisory team responsible for planning-centric solution strategy across Consumer Goods and Life Sciences.
Establish and run the Solution Advisory practice, including capability standards, enablement plans, deal coaching, and progression paths across Intermediate, Senior, and Principal Solution Advisors.
Act as a hands-on solution leader for the most strategic and complex opportunities.
Partner closely with Sales leadership and Advisory teams to qualify opportunities.
Serve as the design authority of record for complex pursuits, ensuring solution integrity and scalability.
Define and institutionalize differentiation assets focused on consumer-goods use cases.
Drive enterprise value realization tied to service levels, inventory turns, freshness, cost-to-serve, and promotion performance.
Act as a bridge between field teams, product leadership, and executives.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain solution advisory, pre-sales, consulting, or enterprise solution architecture.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams of solution advisors, consultants, or architects.
- Strong background in CPG, food, beverage and life sciences planning environments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a player-coach.
- Deep experience in enterprise pre-sales strategy.
- Ability to position planning platforms versus analytics-led approaches.
- Strong solution architecture and value-engineering mindset.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence investment decisions.
- Practical understanding of AI-assisted and agent-driven decision support.
- Experience with Blue Yonder solutions preferred; multi-platform or multi-industry experience is an advantage.
- Ability to explain trade-offs across demand, supply, IBP, production, and execution.
- Clear articulation of value, scope boundaries, and long-term implications for customers.
