Job Description
Job Requirements
- College degree in business/accounting/related field or equivalent work experience required
- 1-2 years in reinsurance/insurance claims management, including processing, coverage confirmation and reporting and/or claims auditing experience required
- Ceded reinsurance claims experience a strong plus
- Experience with allocating complex claims from ground up loss to multiple reinsurance contracts of a company’s reinsurance program on an inuring basis, both proportional and non-proportional
- Interlocking clause experience on risk attaching basis losses a strong plus
- Ability to read and understand reinsurance contracts and apply the contract terms and conditions to submitted losses
- Basic accounting skills including ability to work proficiently in Excel, using formulas and other database management tools as needed
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication & organizational skills
