Job Description

Working as the Financial Analyst you will be a key contributor to the divisional finance team, partnering with a wide range of business units and financial leaders to execute key accounting and financial tasks. You will play a key role in driving insightful reporting, analysis, and forecasting as well. This is a high visibility role reporting directly to the Finance Director, with great growth and development opportunities. Assist divisional finance team with day-to-day tasks including creating AR Invoices, submitting invoices for payment, AR collections, AP Purchase Order creation, AP Invoice submittal, etc. Provide financial guidance to operational leaders as it relates to P&L, invoicing, and balance sheet activity Analyze financial data and provide key insights and commentaries on variances and trends Work closely with accounting to ensure timely and accurate execution of key ledger transactions Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of projects, initiatives, and other work streams Perform Ad hoc analysis for various stakeholders including specific accounts, regions, and functions Develop new reports for delivering better visibility and tracking Develop new processes for streamlining manual and repetitive tasks

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools including Power BI
  • Experience with SAP, Anaplan, and Essbase/Hyperion a plus
  • Ability to improve processes and identify/solve problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with a variety of disciplines and diverse groups of people
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing business needs
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels of the organization
